Welcome to Spring term, I know we are all feeling a little blue in the current situation but I know we can do this and stay positive! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas even in these circumstances and managed to stay safe. Even though it is a tricky time, I am so pleased to be the Principal at Flitch Green and I am learning lots about how wonderful it is. There is no replacement for face to face learning and we will all be happier once we are all back in school together, but for now to stay safe, we must learn virtually.
Thank you for communicating with us so promptly this week, I know there has been a lot of information to take on board. It is great to see so many children engaging with the remote learning and I know the teachers are pleased too – well done children of Flitch Green! I know it is challenging to juggle everything but you are already doing a great job and if we work together we can get through this next phase of home learning.
I hope you have all have been able to access google classrooms with ease, please do contact your class teacher or you can view the remote learning guide from our website. I have found out today that google classrooms can be accessed via a playstation or xbox. I will email out details of this on Friday.
Your teachers are here to help with any issues with remote learning and we will try to help where we can – so please do get in touch if you are having problems.
For the small number of children who have been in school this week, they have also done a great job!
I look forward to writing the weekly blog. I have received many messages to welcome me and I am truly grateful for this. Thank you!
