I can’t quite believe that we have already reached February half term! It has been such a busy week at Flitch Green with some amazing Experience outcomes taking place across the school.
I was invited to try the delicious smoothies which Jupiter class made, they all went down incredibly well in the staff room after school too! It was great to see so many parents for the Reception picnic in the hall, Paddington bear would have been very impressed! Saturn and Venus class visited each other to share their learning this week, they were extremely excited to show each other their work.
Over the last half term, I have been looking at our attendance figures and many children are falling below the recommended 95% absence rate. I have attached some guidance which demonstrates the amount of learning hours lost when children are absent from school. This week, parents will receive a letter from us outlining if their child’s absence is less that 95%.
We hope that you all have a lovely half term holiday and look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 24th February!
